Service Above Self — Leading with Compassion, Serving with Purpose

The Interact Club of Maheshwari Public School, Kalwar Road, in association with Rotary Club Jaipur, offers students meaningful opportunities to serve society, build leadership skills, and create a positive impact in their community. Guided by the Rotary motto of “Service Above Self,” members learn that true growth comes not just from the classroom, but from acts of empathy and responsibility towards others.

Throughout 2026, the Club led a series of impactful initiatives centred on health awareness, social responsibility, environmental sustainability, and community service.

Our Initiatives in 2026

Blood Donation Awareness & Volunteering A student-led Nukkad Natak (street play) raised awareness about the importance of blood donation, followed by active student volunteering at a blood donation camp — bringing the message from performance into real-world action.

Organ Donation Awareness Through classroom discussions and digital displays, students explored the significance of organ donation, carrying the message home to spark conversations within their own families.

Azadi Seva Drive In a heartening show of unity, students and parents came together to donate food items, grains, hygiene products, clothes, and stationery. In collaboration with Naya Savera and Robin Hood Army, these essentials were distributed to underprivileged members of the community.

“Each One, Plant One” The Club organised a plantation drive that saw 25 large saplings planted across the school campus — a lasting green contribution and a reminder of every individual’s role in environmental stewardship.

Making a Difference

Through these initiatives, students experienced firsthand the values of service, empathy, teamwork, and responsible citizenship. Each activity was more than an event — it was a step toward shaping young individuals who don’t just learn about social responsibility, but live it through action.
