Rules & Regulation

SCHOOL RULES & REGULATIONS

These rules and regulations have been formulated to create a disciplined, safe, and conducive learning environment for all students. All students and parents/guardians must strictly adhere to these rules. The school reserves the right to change these rules as per CBSE guidelines and institutional requirements.

1. STUDENT CONDUCT & ATTENDANCE

DO'S

• Students must arrive at school on time. Punctuality is essential and reflects disciplined behaviour. Habitual late arrivals will result in disciplinary action.

• Students must keep regular attendance as per CBSE norms. Minimum 75% attendance is mandatory for promotion. Parents must inform the school about absences.

• Students must wear a neat, clean, and properly ironed school uniform with proper footwear. Uniform must be worn with pride and supported in perfect condition.

• Students must support a neat appearance with properly trimmed hair and clean, trimmed nails always.

• Students must carry their School ID Card along with the School Diary every day.

• Students must assemble for morning prayer. After assembly, students must move quietly and orderly to their respective classrooms.

• Students must support discipline and decorum while moving within the school premises during class hours.

• Students must behave respectfully towards teachers, staff, and seniors. They should greet them appropriately whenever they meet.

• Students must take part in all school activities, games, and co-curricular programs as per the school calendar.

• Students must keep their classrooms and the school premises clean and tidy.

DON'Ts

• Students must not bring costly items, valuable articles, or large sums of money to school. The school is not responsible for any loss or theft.

• Students must not use mobile phones, smartwatches, or any electronic communication devices inside the school premises.

• Students must not wear jewellery, rings, bracelets, or earrings to school as per uniform code.

• Students must not damage or vandalise school property, furniture, walls, or belongings of others. Any damage must be reported to the Class Teacher at once.

• Students must not use the school telephone without prior permission. Personal phone calls are prohibited.

• Students must not collect money or make any unauthorised collections in school without written permission from the principal.

• Students must not engage in any form of bullying, harassment, or use of abusive language.

• Students must not bring firecrackers, weapons, or any prohibited items to school.

2. ACADEMIC CONDUCT & PERFORMANCE

• Students must complete all assignments and homework on time and send them as per teacher instructions.

• Students must support a record of all academic work including notes, assignments, and projects in organised files.

• Students must not engage in plagiarism or copy work from others. All academic work must be original and genuine.

• Students must not cheat or resort to unfair means during examinations. This is a serious offence and will lead to expulsion.

• Students must actively take part in class discussions and ask questions to clarify concepts.

• Students must take responsibility for their learning and seek help from teachers whenever needed.

3. SAFETY & HEALTH GUIDELINES

• Students must follow all safety protocols and instructions given by teachers and school staff.

• Students must always support personal hygiene and cleanliness. Frequent handwashing is mandatory.

• Students must report any illness or injury at once to the school medical staff or nearest teacher.

• Students must ensure all vaccinations are up to date as per Government of India guidelines.

• Students must follow traffic rules while traveling to and from school. Proper care must be taken while crossing roads.

• Students traveling by two-wheelers must have a valid driving license and helmet. They must park vehicles only in designated areas.

4. CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

• All students must take part in at least one co-curricular activity as per school requirements.

• Students selected for school teams or programs must attend all required practices and events.

• Students must wear proper uniforms and support discipline during all co-curricular activities.

• Students must stand for the school with integrity and honour in all internal and external competitions.

5. DISCIPLINARY ACTION & PUNITIVE MEASURES

The school may take strict disciplinary action including but not limited to the following:

• Deviation from school norms and guidelines without valid reason

• Damaging or vandalising school property, furniture, walls, or resources

• Repeatedly violating school rules despite warnings and counselling

• Using obscene language, bullying, or engaging in disrespectful behaviour towards peers or staff

• Bringing unauthorised or prohibited items such as mobile phones, weapons, or firecrackers

• Cheating in examinations or engaging in academic dishonesty

• Engaging in immoral conduct, grave insubordination, or wilful damage to school property

• Repeated improper uniform or appearance despite warnings

• Serious misconduct as per CBSE guidelines may result in suspension or expulsion

6. GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL MECHANISM

• All grievances should be raised through proper channels - first to the Class Teacher, then to the Counsellor.

• The school has a transparent grievance redressal system as per CBSE guidelines.

• Students and parents can approach the principal directly for serious issues.

• The school supports confidentiality and ensures fair investigation of all complaints.

7. CODE OF CONDUCT FOR STUDENTS

• Students must show integrity, honesty, and respect in all their dealings.

• Students must treat all members of the school community with dignity and respect.

• Students must take responsibility for their actions and decisions.

• Students must contribute positively to the school community through active participation.

• Students must uphold and respect the school's values and traditions.

• Students must be aware that their conduct outside school reflects on the school's reputation.
