The ECMS was established in the year 1926, and today it is running 10 institutions under its aegis in Jaipur, each institution having its own unique features. The ECMS works on the vision of building tomorrow’s work force which is an amalgamation of knowledge, modern outlook, scientific temper, love for the motherland, its culture, heritage, traditions and values. Around 21,765 students are moulded into perfect individuals and able citizens of the country by around 930 staff members in these institutions, where emphasis is laid on the holistic development of the students in an environment of love, care and concern.
All these institutions have modern infrastructure with digital classrooms, latest state-of-the-art laboratories, high tech libraries, sports facilities and plenty of co-curricular activities. The teachers, who endeavor to shape tomorrow’s citizens into dynamic leaders, are dedicated, devoted and committed in their effort. We are proud to mention that every year, a good number of our students qualify for admissions to various professional institutions like IIT’s, NIT’s, Medical Colleges including AIIMS, NDA and many more. Many students qualify for scholarships like KVPY, NTSE, CBSE and society level. All the 10 institutions are governed by the Education Committee of the Maheshwari Samaj (Society), Jaipur and each institution is managed by the respective school/ college Managing Committee. The ECMS has a magnanimous approach towards the students who are in need and belong to the financially weaker sections of the society, education for such students is sponsored by the ECMS.
It does not fail in its efforts to recognize the academic excellence of the students and in this regard, scholarships are awarded to the student toppers. In the session 2017-18, ECMS provided scholarships of more than INR 2 Crores to students. The vision of ECMS is to spread its wings further and be of service to the society and nation at large, by making education reach larger number of children and hence their future plans reflect in the new MPS division constructed in Kalwar area which was inaugurated this session.
It would, in future, cater to the need of an additional option of Humanitites stream in +2 classes which would facilitate the need for education as per the demand of the current situations. All 10 institutions under ECMS are a part of the same family and combined celebrations are held on Republic Day, Independence Day and Teachers Day at a common venue. Even events like the Sports Week and Career Counseling Fair are being held combined, every year, in which renowned institutions and universities participate. The ECMS is ardently concerned with the growth and the development of faculties working in their institutions, for this staff development programmes and workshops are organized frequently.
